“Hey, what’s your name by the way?” Rosie questions.

“Romie! And yours lovely?” Romie replies.

“Let me tell you a story. One day an eagle came to this island. The eagle tried to fly away and realized that her wings were damaged. She flew threw a rose bush. I’m that eagle. You call me E!”

“Okay, you got Chiron’s mouth open?” 

“Yup! You got the feet secured?” 

“Yup! Now what?”

“Take the white lilies and place them in between his toes. I’ll brush his gums with the yellow.” Rosie says to Romie.

Romie takes the white lilies and places a flower in between each of Chiron’s toes. “Such pretty feet there, pal!” Romie says to Chiron. “We’re going to get you better!”

Rosie begins to rub the yellow lilies in Chiron’s gums. Chirons toes begin to shake. “Hold his feet down!”

Romie jumps on top of Chiron's legs holding his feet down. Chiron’s eyes begin to flicker back and forth. “Sonya, I think he’s ready.” Rosie says.

“Do you two see that tree over there? With the blueberries?” Sonya asks.

“Yes,” both Rosie and Romie say simultaneously.

“Go climb up and get off the ground, as high as you can get!” Sonya says.

Rosie and Romie run over to the Blueberry Tree and begin climbing. Petri swings their tail down. “Here, take my hand!” Petri yells.

“Oh thanks, bud!” Romie says as he reaches over Rosie.

“Did he just-?” Rosie says quietly to herself.

“Hey! Romie, you forgot to wipe!” Rosie yells.

Romie, embarrassed, begins to blush. “What?!” He yells as he begins to examine his rear.

“Move!” Rosie says bumping into Romie knocking him down to the tree limb below.

Back over at Chiron and Sonya, Sonya makes a loud screech. Romie and Rosie cover their ears due to the loudness. Sonya screeches higher and higher until a light wave strikes Heaven. Heaven cracks open and a lightning bolt jolts down to Chiron.

The lilies begin to charge up connecting a line of pure yellow, similar to gold. Chiron’s body begins to vibrate. 

“Is he gonna be-” Romie says before being cutoff by Rosie.

“He’ll be fine! We do this all the time. Just watch, the show is about to start.” Rosie says.

Sonya picks Chiron up and flies into the sky. Three-ways  up, she drops Chiron. Chiron falls, heating up his body to the core. As Chiron nears the ground, his eyes burst wide open as he repels fire out of his mouth to push him up. The ground underneath vanquishes to the whitest of ashes.

“WOO-HOO!” Romie chants.

“Yayy! Chrion’s back!” Rosie says.

Petrie slaps his tail pushing Rosie into Romie. Rosie loses balance and Romie catches her. They stare into each other’s eyes. “I don’t know what I just watched, but I can be here with you forever.” Romie says.

Rosie jerks forward and props up. “What you saw was magic, now, you’re stuck with me.” She says.

“C’mon love lilies, let’s go back down. Hop on!” Petri says.

The two climb aboard Petri as they head to ground level. The forest is completely burnt to ash. Rodents and Rocktiles begin to scavenge for a new home. Petri continues to slither along the way.

A hole opens straight ahead as Qua crawls out. “What are you all doing up here? You’re messing up automations!” 

“Sorry Q! Chiron struck out!” Petri says.

“Oh no! Everything okay? Do you need my missionary?” Qua responds.

“We’re on the way to find out! Join us!” Petri says.

“Crew! We’re above land!” Qua yells. Hundreds of thousands of 8-legged insects crawl from out the hole. Petri’s body begins to rise off the ground. “We’ll take it from here.”

“Where did Chiron and Sonya go?” Asks Romie.

“Back home! Chiron still has wounds to care for.” Petri says.

The insects strut through the forest in single-file formation. “So E, where are the people that look like us?”

“Who?!” Rosie says.

“Oh! What do you mean?” Rosie says.

“Us. Me and you. We can’t be the only ones here.” Romie says.

“Take a look around, they are us as much as we are we. That’s called family.” Rosie says.

Romie has a perplexed look on his face. Up ahead rests Chiron’s oasis. Everybody climbs up to find Sonya surging Chiron’s cuts & wounds. “Rosie, can you wake Pooky?” 

“Ahh! So you’re name is Rosie!” Romie yelps.

“Sonya calls me that. You can call me E!” Rosie snaps.

Rosie walks into Chiron’s private room to find Pooky the Tarantula. “Wakey-wakey! We need you!” Rosie says as she reaches inside the cage. Pooky’s eyes begin to flutter as they slowly wake up. “Hi there bud! Remember me?”

Rosie brings Pooky back to the sunroom with Sonya. “Okay Pooky, we’ve done this before. Remember, bite and let go!” Sonya says as Rosie drops Pooky into Chiron’s gouge. 

Pooky bites and Chiron screams. “Good, good, now release!” Sonya says. Chiron’s gouge begins to slowly  fill in.
